My family and I have recently emigrated from Somerset in the UK to New Zealand and the sights and sounds of the city of Wellington. Although I’m sure I can still smell the faint whiff of farm country! I have a wonderful partner (one day we may marry but we haven’t quite got round to it in 14 years, so don’t hold your breath!) and gorgeous daughter who has just turned 13, I’m still adjusting to being the father of a teenager!

I enjoy the martial arts, particularly chinese arts such as wushu, shaolin and tai-chi, playing with SQL + .Net + CSS and a bunch of other geeky type things, comics, esoteric thought, reading, music, outdoor activities such as rock climbing, archery, tramping (it means walking over here, kinda like rambling of the non-written or verbal variety) and a whole bunch of other stuff too voluminous to mention but you get the drift.
